bonjour pouvez vous m'expliquer le superlatif +/-? merci

Sagot :

When we do comparison between two things then we you use superlative. It called The Degree of Comparison. For example -
Positive                     Comparative                                   Superlative
Hard                          Harder                                                Hardest
Fast                           Faster                                             Fastest
Soon                          Sooner                                             Soonest
In comparative we put less emphasis but in superlative we put more emphasis on comparison which means after that there is no limit of comparison.
Let take an example
This venila cake is good but the chocolate cake  is best. which means that venila cake is not bad but there is no comparison of chocolate cake that one is superb there is no limit to compairethis cake with other. So we are putting more emphasis on chcocolate cake as compare to venila cake. Therefore, Superlative adjectives are used to describe an object which is at the upper or lower limit of a quality (the tallest, the smallest, the fastest, the highest). They are used in sentences where a subject is compared to a group of objects.
Noun (subject) + verb + the + superlative adjective + noun (object).

other Example-

My house is the largest one in our neighborhood. This is the smallest box I've ever seen. Your dog ran the fastest of any dog in the race.
I hope you understand the superlative now
