In our text, we have learned that some people in a bus were surrounded (=encerclé) by a violent and pitiless mob. The people who have barricaded the eleven weak people, in the bus were determined. These people who are mad against the unarmed and powerless people in the bus were ready to do anything. In this bus the Freedoms Riders were miserable and couldn’t do nothing. The crowd was outnumbered comparing to the poor people who were stuck (=coincé) in the bus. The mob was just waiting for get them, with their bats and metal poles, furthermore (=de plus) they were trying to intimidate and terrorize them. The prisoners of the bus were just alone, and were very fearful (=craintif) of what they saw. Hungry and ready to attack, the heartless mob was threatening (=menaçante) and determined to killes all the people who could step off that bus.
