the geographical and symbolic areas that all societies occupy and the
interactions between men and different societies. Our world is built on the
exploration and conquest of new spaces. The different cultural, economic,
sociological and language interactions have shaped and characterised our
modern day world. it seems to me that, space and exchange shows more the idea of wanting to have more territory. What are the different forms of those
immigrants ? First of all, I will talk about the pilgrim father then, I will
talk about the immigrants who believe in the American dream.
I will introduce this notion with the document " the pilgrim father "
because there is a group of people dissident from the church of England.
They decided to go to America to purify society. They first escaped to
Netherlands, then, they travelled Plymouth Rock and when they arrived in America they made a pact with the native to live together on the same board. It was decided that the 4 Thursday of November would be a celebration day in
memory of this event. It's called Thanksgiving. So, we can relate this
notion to this document because the pilgrim father changed continent to
purify society so it accentuated the idea of space and exchange
because he wanted to purify society, they share their culture with
other people who are not following their religion. They think they will improve
their lives and that it is being cultivated that being wild. Then, I will
talk about the document " American Land ". It's a song of Bruce
Springsteen. Bruce Springsteen is an American singer, composer, and song
writer. He's known for his patriotic lyrics and songs about American average
people. In this song,he presents the hardship of the immigrants and even
their deaths while building the US. We know today. in This document, we can
relate to this notion because the document shows the story of the immigrants when they arrived in America.it'll show us more about the immigrants'life and how it wasnt a better life like they expected and how the dream that the immigrants believed in wasnt true.
