I'm back from my school trip to New York and I got to say that it was awesome! We visited a lot of monuments, but there is one that really stood out to me, it was the Statue of the Liberty. We visited it on Thursday, I was so exited to actually see it in real life.Once I was at the bottom of it, I got a little scared to go up, I didn't know how tall it was but it was actually pretty cool. Once at the top, I got to see a beautiful view from there and of course like every tourist, I took pictures. I mean who doesn't ? I almost dropped my phone and I was so scared that it happened again so I put it in my pocket and looked like I was lost because I didn't have anything to do. There is another thing that happened to me, you now know that I looked lost but something weird happened, here is the thing: since it's really cold in New-York, my friends and I amused ourselves by creating mist (la brume) and then there was a half-drunk half-sober man who came here and said "Don't lie to me, I know that you have a cigarette so give me one! " That scared us a little bit because we didn't know how to react to this situation. So one of my friend decided to call the teacher to see what he could do about it and he like sort of apologized but at the same time he asked half politely if the drunk man could get away from us.
