In 1980, people weren't aware of the dangers of their behaviour. They used to burn plastic waste in the gardens, as now we recycle part of our plastic waste.
.They weren't taking advantage of public transport, as now we avoid taking
our own cars because we're used to prevent from polution. We are now used to ride by bike or take public transport. People didn't recycle enough. Now we use to recycle as much as we can. Plastic bottles, metal cans,domestic garbage as peelings, almost everythig can be recycle. People used to have a bath every day, but now, we have realized how precious water is. So we try to have only short showers and not waste water. When people used to throw toxic liquids in the rivers, we now denounce the chemical factories that sometimes still do it.
It's punished by law and very regulated.
A part of our ecosystem is in bad shape, and we want to help to releive it.
In the eighties , people used no to act so because they didn't kow yet.
