South London around Brixton is quite unpopular. It's where all the Carribbean and Jamaican people live but in the same time , it's a musical area quite moving up for artists.Some problems exixt between gangs from different races. The Notting Hill Carnival wouldn't exist without them.
West London is the most upper side
East end of London is known for its high immigrant population
North and North West are known for Camden Market and all the music scene.
I think that, as in Paris, thank's to artists and so, things are moving. A few years ago, Bastille, Ménilmontant , Pigalle were considered as poor places and now the rents are really high .....
Camden neither was a good place.....
So people are part of a town and help to change it , above all artists
