The nickname of New-York City is the Big Apple. Many rumors exist about this nickname.
It's the most populated city in The United State. People often think that New-York is the capital of the USA !!! But of course , it's not. It's Washington DC.
New-York is a city that never sleeps. There are grocery store opened 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The underground is quite easy to take and cover long distance.
There are many things to visit in New-York. The Statue of Liberty, of course, on Ellis Island; museums as the MOMA (Museum Of Modern Art).
But I think the best you can do is having a walk along the streets.
New-York has five boroughs. Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Queen's, Staten Island and the Bronx. If before some of these boroughs didn't have a very good reputation, it has changed , and families are beginning to set there.
You should gather around Little Italy or Chinatown in Manhattan and then finally, go in Central Park, the lung of New-York.
Have a good pair of sneakers as every American woman have (thy wear their high-heel shoes when they get to work) because you're going to walk a lot.
And maybe , you'll be able to see a musical in Broadway !
