4) The peace pact Kellogg-Briand , named so after its author, Franck B. Kellogg (US Secretary of State) and Aristide Briand (French Foreign minister), was signed between Germany, France and The United States on August 1928.
It was said that they would promise not to use war to resolve conflicts but it didn't work out because 10 years after the Second World War was there.

Benito Mussolini referred to small nations while eagles to bigger ones. The National League was able to settle peace in small nations . However they remained unsuccessful among powerful nations.
