If my life was at risk, of course I would continue to stand up for my rights, for what I believe in. I would continue as well for others persons rights because I guess my rights would not be only mine, but would concern other people too.
You never must give up up for what you believe in.
Some people can't do it not because they are afraid , maybe because they don't have the skills or the opportunity to go on. Many reasons can prevent them from acting, from fighting. It doesn't mean they are cowards but they might not be strong enough . And they aren't to blame.
None of civil rights have been acquired easily. If you stop standing up, what are you going to do ??? Just wait and see what's going to happen next ?? Once you have started, you have to fight until you win. Your future depends on it.
You can't allow someone to stop your dreams, your beliefs, whatever should happen.
If you have started to stand up for your rights, I think it's something you have been thinking about for a long time before. And I'm pretty sure nothing would stop you, even if your life was at risk.
You will have accomplished a step forwards you and others. They will know that nothing is impossible and you'll be an example for many.

Je crois t'avoir déjà aidé et je crois aussi me souvenir que tu n'es pas nul en Anglais donc tu sauras le faire ^^
