Manon BRUNET was born on February 7th 1996 in Lyon. She is a French fence of 21 years old. His father name is Philippe BRUNET and her mother name is Sandrine BRUNET. She uses the sabre of the right hand .Her nickname during championships is “Brunette”. She began the fencing at 8 years old to the club “Sabre Au Clair” in Rillieux-la-Pape.
She is very talented. In 2012, she won the championship on London. She joined a new club in Orleans in 15 years old. But Manon progresses fast, so she was outclassed in the category seniors in the INSEP in 17 ans. From her arrival in senior category, she won the trophy of the world cup of sabre of the ladies in Orleans. Then, she went to the Pole France and began her international career.
In 2015, during a championship in Uzbekistan, she became vice world champion for the first time in junior category then 9th in senior category. She was selected for the Olympics Games of Rio in 2016. But finally, she lost in half-final against Sofia Velikaya.
She has a very good prize list: She won two silver medals at world championships in junior category of 2015 and 2016, she won two silver medals at European championships by team of 2014 and 2016, and a golden medal in the world cup of 2016/2017 in Orléans.
