Hello ! The introduction will be in english. It will be a mix of english and french.

At the beginning of the year, during the first lesson of history, our teacher of geography and history, Mrs(missize) Maya asked us: Why learn the history? Why is important to remenber the past ? We answered : that was for not remake the same errors. For exemple, someone live, but he forget the previous days. He remake the sames errors everyday beacause he forget everything ! When we went to verdun i asked myself these same question ; Why make memorials ? Why the testimony and the commemoration is important ?
We can speak of the duty of memory.


For example, We parcipated at the memory, when we sang at the cemetery the song of Craonne and at the ceremony of the 8 may. Is an evidence to remember the prominent events of the past. In my opinion we can't build the présent if don't interested by the past.



I liked work this subject, i understand the importance of the memory
My family as changed by the war, like all the world.
For understand the present we must learn the past.
All places we visited, it was like the lesson of history take life !
This travel was related with french and history calsses
