It all depends why you're going living in an other country... Is it your own choice, is it because of your career...In another way, did you decide it or did you have to move .....
If, tomorrow, you would have the opportunity to leave my country and live abroad, no matter where, no matter which conditions, you should accept.
Why ? Simply, because our generation should be so eager to learn , to know about what they just watch on TV.
Even if you like (love) your life over here, you need to discover new knowledge, new way of living, to meet different people, beliefs and so on....
It would probably help you to have a better self-awareness. The world is a melting pot of so many men and women, and I just wonder how we could possibly go on in our own life without going towards them.
You might get homesick, you might want to to give up to come back straight home, for sure.... Days or weeks, even months won't always be easy.....
But with Skype, Internet, I'm sure you'll find the will to go on. I'm pretty sure your family will be proud, so they will give you the energy you might miss time to time.
Maybe, as well, you could miss some opportunities in your own country....
Who knows.......??? No one. It's a risk, I think, we'll have to take.
So as long as you've never tried, you have to go forward. We have so much opportunities to travel, for our work, studies, pleasure, how could we possibly refuse ....The earth is our planet; it offers us so many things and possibilities.
We are meant to be open-minded, so what are we waiting for....???? !!!
It's always, anyway, possible to come back to our roots. But we can't refuse that kind of opportunity...never, when you know a road back is always open (possible)
