in this drawing, we can see 2 sides of background.
on the back, we see two people in a formal cloth, one looking on his watch and the other woman putting her bag on, which chose like they both are in a hurry, sitting on a couch.
behind the couch, there are five people who doesn't really look happy, but shown very savage. A girl is smoking and a boy is on his computer, other one drinking, a boy seems like calling somebody and a girl that looks very anxious.
In my opinion the bright side of the drawing could be adults and the dark side could be children, who haven't had good care from their parents since they are very busy. Or i could also think that the family of the bright side are very rich that they were doing what they were taught to be, and the people of the dark side could be very poor that they aren't well educated that they do not know what they want to do and what they are supposed to do. Maybe both of them could be wrong but this is what the general community could understand.
Also in the bright side, we see a drawing 'scream' of Edvare Munk, which show us the emotions of the people in the drawing aren't happy.
