For this holiday, I went to America with my family to celebrate Christmas and the new year. The first week, I shopped with my mom to buy Christmas presents. To prepare the Christmas dinner, we went to my mother's girlfriend and cooked together. I received many gifts (money, clothes, accessories), the next day I played sports. The second week, we returned to France and we celebrate the new year at an aunt's house in Paris.

Last holidays, I went to the United States with my family to celebrate Christmas (ne mets pas "the new year" puisque tu le fêtes en France ....). First we went shopping with my mom to buy Christmas presents. Then we went to my mother's best girlfriend to cook dinner all together. I got (pas "receive" = recevoir dans le sens de bénéficier) many gifts as money, clothes, jewelry. The next morning I went playing sports(tu pourrais préciser quel sport ??  ex : I went ice-skating at Rockfeller Center (patinoire éphémère de Noël) ....

Then we flew back to France and celebated New Year at my aunt's in Paris.

(ensuite nous "sommes revenus en avion" = to fly = we flew" en France. et avons fêté la nouvelle année chez ma tante à Paris)
