Bonjour,je dois écrire un article en anglais au prétérit en utilisant des mots de liaison concernant un événement en septembre alors j'ai choisi le confrontation du psg face au real madrid. Je voulais savoir si mon texte était correcte. merci d'avance

On 18 September at the Parc des Princes, Paris started its season in the Champions League against the last winner of three of the last four editions. The Parisians did not have their stars in attack (Neymar, Mbappé and Cavani), but they managed to set the tone in the first half, with a double Angel Di Maria who opened the scoring in the 14th minute and managed to score another goal.

Thanks to Gueye, the Parisian midfielder was always present, Gueye covered a large area of play and touched the ball almost everywhere. In the 90th minute, Paris scored a third goal by Thomas Meunier. Finally, PSG managed to start in the Champions League against the Madrid club with a double of Di maria and a perfect match of idrissa gueye.
