After several decades of crisis and disrepair, Harlem is today transformed into a dynamic and attractive district, whereas it was regarded as a ghetto where crime was high a few years ago. The fact that Bill Clinton chose to set up his offices there reflects this urban change and shows the desire to make it one of the attractive centers of New York.
