Once upon a time, in Poland, there was a girl who loved to search, study and experiment. Her name was Mania. She lived under the rule of the Russian Empire. She was a very good student and was fascinated by physics and science. At that time, higher education was more accessible for men than for women. So, after finishing high school, she went to "flight school". It was an independent school presided over by students. It was illegal so it was an "underground school". A few years later, she joined her sister in Paris and studied at the faculty of the Sorbonne and graduated in 1893.

One day, she discovers a new element, polonium, and discovers radioactivity.
