Black and white people coudn't get married
Black people were not allowed to eat in 'white-only" restaurants
Black people were not allowed to sat in the front of the bus
Today in the USA, the segregation doesn't exist anymore
Black people can have their lunch in the restaurants they like an noboy can see those famous ''white only'' signs that used to be in front of the segregated restaurants of the fifties. They can sit at the front of the back of buses because the laws created during segregation have dissapeard . The racism of the dark period is now dead, but the equality is not there for the moment.
Because, even if the first black president of the USA has been elected, the racism still exist, so the white and black have to make another step towards the reconciliation
