Which sentence is NOT in the passive voice?
Explain.
1. The body was found on the floor.
2. There were footprints from the body to the
door.
3. The window wasn't broken.
4. No fingerprints were found on the gun.
Sentence 2 is incorrect because in a passive sentence the subject moves to the front position, and the verb ( or the action) moves to the end, therefore it should be : the footprints were from the body to the door.
