Sagot :
I'm going to talk about the places and form of power. Firstly (first is a better option) I would like to give a definition of this notion, for me (in my opinion..but not that the former is incorrect) power is the ability to control at hers, events, or resources; the ability to make things happen despite obstacles, resistance or opposition. Power is often used/employed by the government or by the politicians. To illustrate this, I have chosen to talk about India: are all citizens on an equal footing in modern-day India? India, a country in South Asia, is the largest democracy in the world and the a huge portion of the world's population are Hindus . It's a country with olds traditions which the societies of today can't be separated. (It's a country that is deeply rooted in its traditions even in the present society)
For beginning (to begin with), India has a population majorly composed of men. In 2012, it was estimated that there were nine hundred and forty girls, aged six and below, for every one thousand boys and revealing that six hundred thousand girls go missing every year. Most of the baby girls disappear at birth or later in life. This phenomenon has been inherited from earlier generations, and is commonly referred to as infanticide on the little girls ( or gendercide to be specific) . In the population, often they have the lowest jobs, based their culture on the cast system.A common custom is paying of bride price by the bride's family to the family of the husband. Due to inability to obtain such bride prices, many poor families do not want to have girl babies/children. For boys, compared to girls, do not have to pay the bride price with want to get married, can take care of the family business when they are older and they perpetuate the family name too. So for the families, to have a boy child is a good thing. It's for these reasons/such reasons, that in three generations, more than fifty million women have been selectively eliminated from India's population through infanticide with illegal failure. The document with the tittle "enough speaking: India's girls go missing" shows the inequality (discrimination) of girls against boys, who are considered to be far more attractive financially. Indian family's are ready for anything, even to kill their own baby to keep their power.
However, currently many girls have been recognized for their differences and their hold on power in this system. In 50 years, India's Independent democracy has had a female Prime minister and a female president. Now, girls can have access to education, often aren't poors, can succeed. The difference between the rich and the poor is very important in India. The rich can have an access to education and consequently can have goods jobs like in the High-tech sectors. On the other hand, the poor, live in shantytown, can't have access to education and are forced to live in their rural communities.
Note: to write you conclusion, you simply just do a summary of what you have written and you add own views about the topic. Both can work.
