Thanksgiving is a celebration of the USA, in this party, americans eat turkey, chocolate cake, jello etc...
this party started at 1942 when some indians arrived to America, but they haven´t food so they asked help to the americans for food, wich the americans gave them.
Actually, before eating the turkey they pray to god to have food.Every year, Macy's  makes a big parade at manhattan, new york. This party is celebrated in all the world, but the country's who celebrate more thanksgiving are Canada and EUA. Normally, all the malls and restaurants close this day, but some are open to make a big celebration. They eat sweet potatoe, turkey, pumpkin, corn etc... The first country where they celebrated this party is the EUA.
