In India there are child labours because they were born in a poor family and to want to make money.
There are several key factors that affect child labour in India most notably is poverty. Child labour in India is to be found in almost every sector of the informal economy. The state of Uttar Pradesh has the highest child labour population followed by Andhra Pradesh. As Singh mentioned in The Times of India article on October,2013 that Uttar Pradesh (a state) has the highest number 20 % of India ‘s child labourers ,children between the aged of ten to fourteen years old .The rate of poverty is highest among people in Uttar Pradesh however, the proportion of urban population living in slums.
