I’m going to present my trip in London which has been fabulous. London
is located in the southwest of Great Britain. It was created ago two thousand years
by the Roman. The inhabitants are called Londoners. London is a touristic city.
It receives twenty seven million tourists each year.
There were about two hundred students and eight teachers to leave. We
left at night by bus to Calais. Then, we took the Eurostar tunnel to cross the
ocean. We arrived at Guildford around eighteen PM.
During this trip, we were housed in small groups of three in English
families in Guildford, a city near London. Our family was very welcoming and
warm.
We discussed with them but they had trouble understanding us. We spent
good time with them and we have good laugh because our accent made them laugh a
lot.
In families, we ate well because the father had us prepare a pizza with
chips. We loved it!
However, the English picnics were special and I didn't like them. English food
is different of the one in France.
We have visited many monuments such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace. My
favorite visit was the museum of Madame Tussauds. I found the wonderful
characters. It
was quite funny to be in a museum with many famous people around us! We took
lots of pictures, it was a good time.
I keep wonderful memories of this trip. I will never forget the English
family who welcomed us. I would like to return to England because I think it's
a beautiful country. Maybe in a few years!
