The family was living near London, so we could take everyday the tube to go in the center of the city. We have been to visit the British Museum, the tower of London and other monuments. We have also been inside Buckingham Palace : that castle has been visited by many tourists (forme passive). 
Once a week our clothes were washed by the family (forme passive)
I enjoyed this stay above all because the second week the family decided to go to Brighton, a beautiful city near the sea. There we could go to the seaside each day. It was fantastic.
The last three days the dinners were always taken in a restaurant. (forme passive)
