MYTHS AND HEROES

I'm going to talk about the notion '' Myths and heroes ''. First of all, I would like to give a definition of ''myths'' : is a legendary story about a hero, may or may not be any rational and idealized representation of a historical caracter. For example : Julius Caesar. I would like to give a definition of a hero : someone who accomplished a good deed, a hero may be admired for his courage, ambition, generosity, physical or mental abilities. He can be fictitious or real. So, we can wonder: can we be a hero without entering the mold of traditional hero? At first, shall see you what is a traditional hero through a movie which is entitled "Caesar has to die", furthermore shall see you through different from characters, such as Robinson Crusoé, Rosa Parks or still women of tomorrow, such as Malala Yousafzai.

At first, we are going to discover whom is a traditional, stereotypical hero. First of all, through a movie that we had viewed who is entitled " Caesar has to die ", inside the which we present us a strong character, brave, powerful : Julius Caesar. He was an idealized representation of power y was a general who managed to conquer. Caesar is unrivalled. In this movie, Brutus says that no matter how much he loved and admired Ceasar , he decided to kill him because he was too ambitious. In the play of Skakespeare, we also find a traditional hero whom is Brutus, because he wanted to free Rome from Caesar's tyranny, power. It is an iconic figure of the play of Jules Caesar and he was faced with a dilemma chosse between Caesar and commun interest. Brutus is a very brave man and charismatic. So, we learn that a traditional hero is a strong man, who has of heavy responsibilities, and who has a lot of power.

First, we can find another example of nobody which does not go into the mold of the hero, but which have it all the same one, through the example of Robinson Crusoe. It is a novel written by Daniel Defoe and published in 1719. It is the sailor which has lived 28 years on a desert island on the coast of America, following a wreck where all died with the exception of himself. He is a hero because he managed to fight wild animals to live, he managed to adapt himself to the wild life which survives and imposes his will in a hostile nature. Furthermore, he helped and freed the slaves on this island. This novel shows a hero who is not a superman. He is a precursor by expressing the idea that the kindness is not either in the innate or in the experience but is an affair of nobody.

Moreover, in the first part we saw that a hero is mainly a strong man, we are going to discover that even if we enter not the mold of the traditional hero we can be all the same to consider as a hero, here through the feminine example who are considered as heroes. For example, Rosa Parks is a needlewoman who became an iconic figure of the fight against the racial segregation in the United States, what is worth him the nickname of "mother of the movement of the civil rights" on behalf of the Congress. It is the person who at the beginning was not known, but became a hero thanks to its acts. It is the woman who defended her ideas and it is a brave woman..
Finally, he also have it for Malala Yousafzai, it is the 17-year-old girl who touched the death for its ideas, she received a bullet in the head by terrorists. She wants to defend the right of the women and the right to education of the girls for Pakistan and in the rest of the world. It is a heroin because she said "I want the education for the children of all the terrorists", while they hurt him. Down from their young age, and from their small imposing presence, his women are really heroes. So , It is the events which often make that an ordinary person meets an extraordinary fate. That is not necessary to enter the mold of the traditional hero to be one.

In conclusion, We can answer the problem, we can assert that a hero can return at the same time into the traditional mold, such as a strong, ambitious and powerful man, and we can also assert that a hero can be a young woman who defends the rights of the women of whole world. For me, a hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself

I'm gonna (ça fait mieux à l'oral) talk about the notion '' Myths and heroes ''. First of all, I'd like to give a definition of ''myths'' : it's a legendary story about a hero, which may be an rational and idealized representation of a historical caracter. For example : Julius Caesar. Then i'd like to you give a definition of a hero : a hero is someone who accomplished a good deed: he must be admirated for his courage, ambition, generosity, physical or mental abilities. He can be fictitious or real. So, we wonder: can we be a hero without entering the mold of traditional hero? First of all, I'll describe you what is a traditional hero through a movie entitled "Caesar has to die", furthermore, i'm gonna give you examples of that kind of hero through different characters, such as Robinson Crusoé, Rosa Parks or still women of tomorrow, like Malala Yousafzai.
