1 a .  A (2) =  ( 2 + 1 )² - 9 = 3² - 9 = 9 - 9 = 0

       A ( - 3/2) = ( - 3/2 + 2/2 )² - 9 =  ( - 1/2)² - 9 = 1/4 - 36/4 = - 35/4

1 b . A (x) = 7

x² + 2 x + 1 - 9 = 7

x² + 2 x - 8 - 7 = 0

x² + 2 x - 15 = 0

Δ = 4 - 4 ( 1 * - 15) = 4 + 60 = 64 = 8 ²

x 1 = ( - 2 - 8 ) / 2 = - 10/2 = - 5

x 2 = ( - 2 + 8 ) /2 = 6/2 = 3

2. A(x) = x² + 2 x + 1 - 9  = x² + 2 x - 8
