George Orwell is a writer of the XXth century, become famous with his novel " 1984 ", in which a totalitarian and oligarchical system crushed any personal freedom. He is considered as a visionary writer, a creator of the face(figure) of Big Brother.
George Orwell, of his real name Eric Arthur Blair, is born in Bengal in 1903, but makes all his schooling in Great Britain. He makes a commitment in the British army in 1922 and becomes a sergeant in Burma. He(it) resigns in 1927 and returns in London, deciding then to dedicate itself only to the writing. It is of this experience(experiment) that he(it) pulls(fires) his(its) disgust of the imperialism. He lives a few months in Paris in 1928, and written a lot. He(it) publishes in 1933 a first novel
