Introduction : I would like to introduce the notion '' locations and forms of power''.
Locations could be important buildings or institutions that represent a certain form of power, for example the White house a symbol of the American presidency.
In politics and social science, power is the ability to influence the behaviour of people. The notion of power implies a basic division between those who have and exercise power and those who have none or little of it.

The first text '' a booming business '' talks about differents forms of power : the power of family because the narrator says '' I was convenient married off by my parents ''
The is too the power of money because rich people pay fort having a child. In this text the woman want to earnsome money by becoming a surrogate.She use her body for eair money. She lands her body to rich people. The surrogate tries to convince herself that this act is the most natural thing to do.
In reality she insists too much on the pure joy of the parents when they see thin little one. But she doesn't really talk about her own feeling concernin the baby , we can say that it relate to the moral power.

To conclude, I would say that the American citizens not need for a weapon to defend itself. It incites to slaughters and other accidents which could be avoided. It would be rather for the justice to carry out the duty and to make the order reign. Stricter laws to the carrying of weapons would be necessary.
