Résumé du film Invictus :

In 1995, Nelson Mandela ( Morgan Freeman ) has just been elected president of South Africa. The country is still divided by the apartheid. The same year, South Africa organizes the world championship of rugby. If the forecasts are not in favour of the team of Springboks, Mandela sees on the contrary an opportunity there to federate his(her) people. He meets then François Pieenar, the captain of the team ( Matt Damon ) whom he is going to support and to encourage throughout the training. According to the matches, the South Africans are going to gather and to support their team, forgetting little by little what had divided them up to there.
