We are now in the years two twenties (?...j'ai inventé ! les sixties, twenties...) , in France. Nowadays, crime is unfortunately more important than it used to be.
Robberies , murders, rapes have almost tripled (have almost been multiplying by three ???) in a few years. The crime organisations have been improving their methods so fast and well that the police is having troubles to arrest them. Nothing good to get out of this, would you say ? We could answer yes, as if we could answer no. Don't worry. There must always have a hope against crime. A detective is struggling right now against this scourge (fléau ? à vérifier). He already managed to arrest several mafia's heads (or snippers) who had untill now always escape , to all differents polices, even the best scientific one.
