Sagot :

In the first drawing, there is the portret of Henry the 8th.He is presented as a brave man, quality which is revealed by his posture. His figure suggests trust, loyalty and honor. The sword hanging from his belt suggests a fighter spirit. Regarding his clothes, they suggest wealth, luxury, taste and refinement. He is an important figure of England because he was the king of England. Also, he had a role in in the separation of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church.
In the second drawing, it is presented a landscape, an array of nature, a rural scene on the river Stour, between the English counties of Suffolk and Essex. In the painting there is a hay wain pulled by horses, aspect that gives the name of the painting. With this painting it is suggested a time of pain and a lot of difficulties for the peasantry, because , as it can be seen, the peasants have to pass through water to get to their cottage. This cottage seems old but solid. There is also a dog near the lake that might suggest innocence, and also the fact that the hope is not lost for the peasants and better days are to come.
