I was told that he was the winner of the competition.

Phrase au prétérit ==> "be" au prétérit + participe passé

A book was given to me by my grandfather.

3. Microsoft will release a new system next year.

Phrase avec auxiliaire will ==> will be + participe passé

A new system will be released next year by Microsoft.

4. Look ! These children are playing a football match !

Phrase au présent Be + V-ing ==> "be" au présent Be + Ving + participe passé

Look! the football match is being played by these children.

5. The policeman has arrested the burglars.

Phrase au présent perfect ==> "be" au present perfect + participe passé

The burglars have been arrested by the policeman.

6. The Head warned my parents about my bad behaviour.

Phrase au prétérit ==> "be" au prétérit + participe passé

My parent were warned by the head about my bad behaviour.
