-Of course, sweetie.
e. Dad, can I miss school tomorrow? I feel a bit lazy.
-Certainly, my pet.

Hi Josh !
I've something to tell you about. You know I live next to Samantha's house. Yesterday, I was hanging around  whith her and I couldn't believe what I heard. She can ask anything to her parents. They just say yes to all her whims (caprices). See, today, she's not there ......Yesterday she asked her dad if she could miss school because she was feeling tired. Guess what he answered,  ?
He said : "Certainly my pet !" They never call her Sam; it's sweetheart, darling, sweetie....What do you think about it, Josh ?
"I think we could say she's lucky, but I wouldn't like it that much.  It's like they weren't really listening to her. If all she asks end up with a yes, one day she'll ask "mum, can I rob the bank today ?" If her parents answer "yes, my love", she'll be desperated and won't understand. It's an exagerated exemple. But imagine, one day her parents stop having so much money, she's not prepared to that. We should think how to help her. She's a nice girl. She's not aware of it
