Cell phones /mobiles are useful to call to your friends, your family, anyone is you have a problem; you can also take pictures, make a video, send SMS, have Internet . It has become a work instrument. If we don't have it with us, we're lost, our social life seems empty.
We forgot the main reason why cell phone was made for : calling in case of emergency, or to warn if we were late ot be called in these same cases. It's usefull because you can reach someone quickly
Most of people look like if they were born whith a phone transplanted in their body
.We don't write anymore, we chat...We don't talk anymore, we send sms. Probably, a lot of person regret that time. The smell of paper, the way of writting...But times are changing; of course SMS don't help us with our grammar !( I think evey French teacher has, at least once, wished all cell phones to disappear ! tu n'es pas obligé de le mettre. ça m'est venu tout seul !!)
But the good thing is we can send a message with a picture and a smiley, quickly, easily, just thinking to someone, without having something special to say.
What we should realize more often is ,that's really usefull for sure,but can we still survive without it. We should , sometimes, on holidays, test ourselves to see how we would react if we were disconnected for a while
