1) He was doing cycling and going to Mr & Mrs Brown's house in Duke Avenue when he saw the smoke.
2) He left his bike in the middle of the road and ran to the Brown's front door which luckily was open.
3) He saw that Mr Brown was trying to put out the flames in the kitchen.
4) When he saw Mr Brown in danger he decided to ring Fire Brigade.
5) When Fire Brigade arrived Matt was using the Brown's house pipe to put out the fire.
6) They didn't see the Matt's bike in the middle of the road and ran over it but they offered new bike to Matt.
