The winter of 1780 was very cold thus very hard. Marqui de Lafayette came to the USA in 1780 to help the Americans. During the war for independence, the American colonies(summer camps) fought against Great Britain for their independence; the French people helped them thus making allied of them but enemies of the English people who thus took revenge.
