1- Le Mayflower était un navire qui partit de Plymouth, en Angleterre pour
rejoindre Plymouth en Amérique, dans une région appelé "New England ».
- The Mayflower was a ship that sailed from Plymouth in England, to join
Plymouth in America, in a region called "New England".
2- Il y avait 102 passagers a bord du Mayflower
- There were 102 (one hundred and two) passengers on board the Mayflower
3- Ils ont quitté l'Angleterre et la Hollande, afin de commencer une
nouvelle vie sur le continent américain, pour échapper aux persécutions
religieuses, ou tout simplement pour réaliser leur rêve d'un avenir
meilleur. Ces pèlerins, on dû passer soixante-six jours en mer avant
d'atteindre le continent américain, qu'ils considèrent comme leur terre
promise.

American continent, to escape religious persecution, or simply to realize
their dream of a better future. these Pilgrims had to spend sixty-six days
at sea before reaching the American continent, which they considered their
Promised Land.
