1- The Internet Of Things means that , thanks to a computing concept, everyday object of our life would be connected in our future life .
A "smart" device or object is a device or an object with an artificial intelligence. They are conected to other networks or devices wireless and are quite autonomous
2- The advantage of IOT , in your daily life , for example , are quite useful.
You forgot to turn off the temperature, and the day is really nice and warm : it will do it for you. You forgot to close the shutters before leaving , there isn't any probblem. When your alarm clock rings , your coffee maker starts and so on... You don't have to worry any more

It may present some security questions . The "smart" device will know every thing about you if your house is completly connected . What about security ? It's a big issue. How to make sure your informations will be secure ? Will the hackers be interested and how could they use it ? What about privacy ?

My opinion on the IOT is not very enthusiastic. My privacy is very important to me. I know that when I go on the Internet, part of my life is exposed, as well as when I pay with a credit card. I don't have any account on a social network because I don't trust them. Moreover, I don't want to be totaly deshumanized, and to me, that how it looks like. We don't write letters anymore, we don't go as often to see a movie in a cinema, we load them, we text, we write e-mails, we read e-books, we shop with e-shops and what abour real life. I can't live in a virtual world
thinking that maybe Big Brother was watching me !
