Voici quelques arguments:
- An English Parliament would likely be more expense than it’s worth.
- Its point appears to be to allow the English to pass legislation without Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish MPs interfering with something that’s not really their affair
- Introducing an English Parliament or any English devolution could also distance England from the rest of the UK, at a time when unity is desirable
- It seems to be simpler to just have a system, perhaps similar to the ‘English votes for English laws’ idea, to accomplish that without having to increase admin unnecessarily and have more expenses to the taxpayer, when that money could be going to somewhere more useful.
