Plimouth Rock is the rock in which the Mayflower bumped into when arriving .

3- Who were the people on  the Mayflower ?

 The people on the Mayflower were pilgrims.


4- Did they plant a flag when they arrived ?

  Yes they planted a flag calling the place "Plimouth", so thay called the rock "Plimouth Rock"  (on entend "limout" avec la prononciation"...) because they had bumbed into it when arriving.

5- What did the pilgrims start to build at the begining of winter ?

   The pilgrims started to build a settlement at the beginning of winter.

6- Were the pilgrims happy in winter time ?

    No, they weren't. They were starving.

  In Spring time they started to plant .

   Yes, it is. It's a celebration of the first pilgrim's harvest when they arrived in the New World and a God blessing  (= a thank you to God)
