Plimouth Rock is the rock in which the Mayflower bumped into when arriving .

3- Who were the people on  the Mayflower ?

 The people on the Mayflower were pilgrims.


4- Did they plant a flag when they arrived ?

  Yes they planted a flag calling the place "Plimouth", so thay called the rock "Plimouth Rock"  (on entend "limout" avec la prononciation"...) because they had bumbed into it when arriving.

   The pilgrims started to build a settlement at the beginning of winter.

    No, they weren't. They were starving.
