a- The pubs are an important part of life in Britain. People go there to relax, meet friends and sometimes to do business. A pub food (called "pub grub") is often good and cheaper than a restaurant food. In a pub you often have to go to the bar to get your food and drink. Beer is a popular drink.
b- People of Whales are very musical. Every year, almost every town or region organises a festival of poetry and music called "eisteddfod".
c- Britain is an island and you are never very far from the sea.
d- The West of England produces milk, cream, butter and a cheese (espacially Cheddar cheese) and apples, which go to make cider, a very popular drink.
