Dear editor in chief,
I am writing a comment based on the cartoon that I recently saw in your newspaper.
What I found the most stunning was, contrary to the boy who seems to be quite rich, the girl must be rather poor as she can't afford to buy shoes and What struck me the most was that In Indonesia, poor people work in sweatshops from sunrise to sunset to make this NIKE shoes, and american peoples buy this even when they are unemployed. When I saw it, it made me feel sad, angry and shocked : sad for indonesian girl and the people who are in the same conditions, angry for people who lives in developed country because people who lives in the USA or in a country that have not the same conditions with indonesia are not interested, they work not with the same working conditions.
The two person are teenagers. I imagine the American teenager must be happier than the Asian girl. She must be poorer than him too and also more courageous. The girl work in a sweatshop and we can see that she is tired whereas the boy who seems bored. Unlike to the boy who is jobless, the girl works day in day out, from sunrise to sunset. It's terrible to see a teenager who spoilt 150$ for shoes whereas for the girl, 150$ is so much !
Finally, this cartoon opened my eyes on the inequalities in this world, on the injusticies to the poor and on the spending raised by the people rich.

Sagot :

Dear Editor , I am writing a review based on the cartoon I saw recently in your journal. What I found most amazing was , unlike the boy who seems to be quite rich , the young girl must be rather poor she can not afford to buy shoes and what struck me most was that Indonesia, the poor work in sweatshops from sunrise to sunset for Nike shoes , and the American people buy this even when they are unemployed. When I saw it , it made me feel sad, angry and shocked : sorry for this girl and Indonesian people who are under the same conditions , angry for people who live in developed countries because people who live in the United States or in a country that does not have the same conditions with Indonesia are not interested , they do not work with the same working conditions . The two people are teenagers. I imagine that the American teenager to be happier than the Asian girl . It must be poorer than too and also more courageous. The work of the girl in a clandestine workshop hard we can see that she is tired as the boy seems bored . Unlike the boy who is unemployed, the girl working day after day, from sunrise to sunset. It's terrible to see a teenager who ruined $ 150 for shoes, while for the girl, $ 150 is so superb! Finally, this cartoon has opened my eyes to the inequalities in the world , on injusticies poor and expenditures raised by the wealthy person
