banker : Good morning, let me look.
you : I have tried to use it since Friday and it keeps being rejected.  It is very embarrassing. I know I have money in my account. 
banker :  I will test it to see if there is a problem with the chip.
you :  Thank you.
banker : Ah, I have found what is wrong.  The chip is damaged.  Unfortunately, I will have to order you a new one.  It will take 3 days.  I am so very sorry for this inconvenience.  
you : This is a disaster.  I leave on my holidays tomorrow!
