" I chose the Für Élise which is a piece of music by Ludwing vzn Beethoven published in 1865.
I knew this song thanks to my mother who made me hear it after my first lesson of piano and I learned it then. This song is called "Für Élise" but according to a supposition, Beethoven had called it "Für Thérèse" in reference to his ex-fiancée who refused to marry him in 1810 the year when he composed his work . Ludwing Nohl, who discovered it, had badly transcribed it into "Für Élise" . I choose this song because it is one of the few classic songs that I like, it's catchy and pleasant and it has gotten an interesting story.
