Bonjour, j'ai écris une lettre sur le racisme Afro-Américains. Pourriez vous me corriger svp? :)

"Dear Evan,
I'm very sorry I haven't written for so long and hope you will forgive me.
I am writing this letter to you never forget what your grandparents and great-grandparents were suffered. My name is Peter Holbrook, i was born on August 25 1929. At that period, life for black people was difficult due to racism. Racial discrimination was not illegal in 1930s America, therefore racism was still rampant at the time. Whites and blacks were segregated in 1930s America and blacks were considered as 2nd class citizens. We are paid less than whites people and they had to work harder than everyone else, often given the more 'dirty work'. In the late 1930s, the black militancy was booming. Thousands of blacks were victims of lynching by white people calling themselves "vigilantes", sometimes with the explicit support of officials in the southern states and beyond.
I've got to go now , give my love to your mother . Much love from your grandfather"

Merci d'avance
