Our memorial is paying tribute to black americans who died during the 20th century in USA. Most of them were killed by white cops or citizens. That's why we choosed black and white as the main colors of our memorial. Thanks to this contrast we highlight the conflict between black and white in the USA. The main element which is the greatest of our memorial is the black statue with a shape of face, engraved in white inside the rock there are dates of death of the victims. The shape of the statue refers to all black people. Below, there is a streak of black stones, and on the two sides there is grass and two rounds of white rose from both sides. And finally, in the middle of the roses there is a fountain.
With the roses and the fountain we wanted to create a peace space, with a calming effect for the family or simply the people who come here.
