§1 (Description de l'atmosphère)
+ Utiliser des synonymes, sachant que ça fait peur il y en a beaucoup.
--> creepy, gloomy, strange, spooky, worrying, frightening, dark, dreadful...
+ Décrire un endroit qui fait peur aussi, ça aide. Une grotte, une salle de classe, un cimetière, un lieu abandonné, voire un lieu complètement imaginaire.
+ Contextualiser l'histoire, ça peut rapporter des points et rallonger un peu le travail.
Par exemple: (Attention, ne copie pas ce que tu ne comprends pas! Demandes moi des infos supplémentaires si tu en as besoin)
Once upon a time, my friends and I explored a dark and huge abandoned factory. We did not know what was going to happen. It was around 9pm when we entered the building. It was creepy, there were many objects left behind in the factory. My friend Tim got frightened by a bat, but it also scared us. Afterwards we laughed, but not for long. This place was strange, and odd things happened to us.
§2 (Description du personnage ou du fantôme)
+ Vêtements, visage, absence de visage, laideur, beauté, il faut tout commenter au max.
+ Dire comment le personnage est effrayant
Par exemple :
We entered a large room. It was empty and dirty. We noticed a black shadow in the corner. Jenna approached the shadow and said "It's not a shadow. I think it's somebody or something". We did not believe her until the shadow moved. Indeed there was a huge figure, with no face. It was enormous, but had no arms and short legs. I don't know why, but I felt it was bad. Something told me not to further and come home. The shadow wore a sort of black dress and it had a golden necklace. It represented a circle with the letter "S" in it. Tim and Tommy ran away, but Jenna and I stayed. Although it had no eyes, I knew the figure was watching us. Staring at us, to be precise.
§3 (Gestes que le personnage va faire)
+ Choisir : ça va bien se finir ou non ?
+ Bien décrire, essayer d'intriguer sur cette partie.
+ Attention aux temps.
Par exemple :
The figure was moving towards us slowly, performing small steps. Suddenly, it stopped. It seemed to look upon itself now. Some rocks fell from the ceiling, the shadow was moving these rocks. It was probably some sort of mind control. A sword was now flying towards us. The shadow was looking towards us. What was going to happen. Were we going to die? I knew it was a silly idea to go there. I told Tim. Now Tim is gone. All of a sudden, a ghostly and horrible voice broke the silence.
§4 (Dialogue)
+ Verbes de paroles à utiliser, a diversifier!
+ Attention: pas de tirets en Anglais, on utilise des guillemets A CHAQUE PRISE DE PAROLE! Beaucoup de profs sont sensibles à ça.
+ Dynamiser l'action en mettant quelques mouvements en plus des verbes de parole.
Par exemple:
"I am the Shade." it said.
A silence came again, we were frozen in fear. We did not know how to react, and to be honest, I was not going to be the one to speak first. Jenna has always been braver than me.
"I... My name is... Jenna. And she's my best friend. Will you hurt us ?" Jenna stuttered.
"I won't. I'm here to help. I know I can frighten you, but there are more frightning things in this doomed world." The voice of the Shade was still dark. It resembled a voice from somewhere else. It was not human, for sure.
"What things?" I asked, now kind of reassured that he did not want to kill us.
"A lot of things: demons, creatures living under your feet, crawling under your bed when you close your eyes. I'm not part of these, I fight them. And I need your help."
We hesitated. It was really weird, how a ghostly creature could ask us to help it? But Jenna decided for us both.
"We will help you. Sure."
"All you need to do first is finding a golden key. One of the creatures stole it and hid it in the building. Be careful, do not speak loud. They could kill you instantly. And if you see one of those, don't blink. Take this sword, just in case."
It was the beginning of a long and exciting and yet spooky adventure. We were determined to help the Shade.
