Sagot :
I was born
February 4th, 1913, to Tuskegee, in Alabama, in the United States. My father is a carpenter, my mother is a primary school teacher. My parents(relatives) part while I am still very young. I leave living with my mother in the farm of my grandparents. During my childhood, I experience the racism. In my time(period), the Whites and
Blacks do not have the same rights. As Black, I am very often a victim of discrimination. I saw my grandfather sometimes in front of the house with its rifle, when the Ku Klux Klan paraded(scrolled) the house, because we felt in danger. My family always fought for the equality between the individuals and against the racism. Thanks to my mother, I was lucky enough(had the opportunity) to learn to read and I was able to study.
