It was a disaster from the start. As 12 walked / was walking into the hotel, a very rude porter
3 dropped / was dropping my suitcase on my foot and 4 broke / was breaking my toe. There was
no doctor who spoke / was speaking English, so I had to go to the nearest town (twenty
kilometres away) to find a doctor who could understand me.
