I'm going to talk the notion Seats and forms of power. The power is the ability to influence people's behaviour. The power can take many forms, it can be political or media or be simbolized by a place like a building or ever a country. Pb : How power can be symbolized and used differently ?
I choose to illustrate this notion to explain the influence of the media on the population, then the symbol of power of the White House and then we will see the abuse of power in prison.

The media have power over us, they play an important role in our society. In politics, for example, the media can have a strong political unfluence and influence the way we perceive things as minorities, for example in class we studied the debate between Nixon and Kennedy in 1960. And this debate has had such an impact it's been necessarily influenced his election. The media played an important role in several case Solicitating the scandal of Wattergate because Nixon was accused or conspiracy and espionage against opposing political parties. Nixon has abused power to President. The two journalists from the New York time revolutionized the history of investigative journalism. But some abuse this power, for example in prison in Guantanamo or human rights are violated which are detained persons qualified as "unlawful combatants" captured by US forces in the different operations it conducts abroad. To conclude, we can say that more thing symbolizes power, for example a house but every form of power is exercised in its own way. It may be related to freedom of expression as with the media or be under strict form thus denying freedom as we have seen with the prison in guantanamo.
